Good to know
A thin arc of white sand rising out of turquoise water, ringed by glass-clear shallows. At low tide you are quite literally standing in the middle of the sea. This is the lunch stop: lunch box and cold drinks served on deck while the boat anchors beside the sandbar.
The sandbar changes size with the tide — sometimes wide, sometimes just a ribbon of sand. Wear easy-off sandals; there is no shade on the bar, so bring a hat.
